BBC Sport - Sochi 2014: Vic Wild wins stunning snowboard double gold

'Russia in raptures' as Wild wins gold

Russia's Vic Wild produces a pair of stunning runs to win his second gold of the Sochi Games in the men's parallel snowboard slalom.

Wild makes a stunning comeback against Austria's Benjamin Karl in the semi-finals before going on to pip his training partner Zan Kosir of Slovenia to gold in the final, sending the Russian crowd into raptures.

United States-born Wild, who became a Russian citizen in 2011, also won the men's snowboard parallel giant slalom earlier in the week.
