Airports throughout the world are offering more microbrews in terminal bars.

Interminable delays. Endless security lines. Lost bags. Flying these days can make you wanna throw back a cold one, or twelve.

Though many airport bars sling the same watery suds, some are tapping into local microbrew scenes.

Portland's world-renowned microbrewery scene is represented at not one, not two, but five airport outposts. Rogue Ales and two Laurelwood bars behind security are joined by restaurants like Rose City Café and Pizzicato Pizza to give you a staggering selection of microbrews. In beer mecca Munich, Airbräu is a sprawling airport microbrewery that brews the beer right in the terminal. It also has a seasonal open-air beer garden. Bottoms up!
