    Though not technically part of the Kentucky Distillers' Association's "official" Bourbon Trail, the Buffalo Trace Distillery has a history dating back to 1857, when it became the country's first steam-powered distillery. This Barrel Crossing marks an actual track that transports barrels from the warehouse where they are filled with bourbon, across the distillery's grounds, and over to the cellar where that bourbon is aged.
