One of the city’s modern architectural accomplishments, the Red Apple, a residential building completed in 2009 and located on the Wijnhaveneiland, an island located in the middle of the River Maas, rises to a height of 120m and is characterised by a stylish eight-storey wedge structure jutting from the bottom of the tower.
