Appropriately enough, Scotland's Museum of Transport has moved about all over the place.
Its third stop in 50 years is the sleek
Zaha Hadid-designed Riverside Museum, which opened on 21
June by the River Clyde in Glasgow. The exhibition provides a new home to
historic Scottish trams and steam engines, and hosts a re-creation of a typical
Glasgow street from 1890 to 1980. The museum even has its own berth – but
beware if you're thinking of docking here: there's currently a 19th-century
tall ship taking up the parking space.
