    Showers will continue to fall as snow on hills and higher routes and to lower levels inland this morning. With surfaces widely below freezing ice is also expected to form on untreated surfaces.

    The public should be aware of the expected icy conditions, especially where lying snow exists and over lower lying areas where rain has fallen, and that this is likely to result in some disruption to transport.This is an update to the warning issued on Friday and expands the area of concern to include the Western Isles.
