Our funding model allows us to think long term, not be ruled by quarterly growth targets; our priority is to make people's lives better by informing, educating and entertaining them.
Pioneering research and innovation
The BBC has always been a tech pioneer, from the earliest days of broadcast, and we continue to innovate. We have the ambition and inventiveness of a tech-start up, but with an unrivalled 100 year engineering history. We have dedicated teams focused on innovation and Research & Development, building solutions for the long term.
Learning and developing
You’ll keep learning and developing. There are countless development opportunities, whether you want to improve your leadership or technical skills. You’ll have access to the BBC Academy, as well as the chance to go on placements, attend conferences, seminars and many others.
