Introduce students to the elements of the periodic table, chemical symbols and molecular formulae. To re-inforce the messages within the clip, play a version of bingo based on the symbols for the names of the elements. Make up cards with the symbols on them and call out the names of the elements. This will help consolidate students’ ability to connect the names and symbols.
