This clip can be used to demonstrate and reinforce how the senses and adjectives and adverbs can be used effectively to write a setting description. The key vocabulary shown on screen can be uplevelled by the children in pairs, using a thesaurus to see if they can improve the sentences the presenter creates. It would also be a great starting point to introduce the children to personification, similes and metaphors and the children could create their own piece about the sea, seagull, waves and rocks.
