A brief summary of the features of seabirds, and a look at why Scotland is a good home for them. Seabirds can drink sea water, live longer than smaller birds and fly to warmer climates in the winter. Scotland's miles of coastline provide them with safe nesting sites with access to plenty of food.

This clip is useful as a summary of habitats. Children could recall the facts from the clip and use them to create a spider-diagram of seabirds. This could lead on to the children making their own similar clip summarising the birds that live in the school habitat and the reasons for this.
