Useful to introduce the festival of Baisakhi and related symbolism. What happens during a festival? What festivals do they celebrate at school? What do they celebrate with their family and friends? After the clip, elicit a list of the main events that take place during Baisakhi. Pupils could then write a postcard to a friend telling about their pretend experience during this festival and mentioning what aspect they found most interesting.
