Can be used when learning about forces by allowing pupils to observe the effects of friction on movement. It could be used prior to investigations into the properties of some materials which, when used as a surface, can cause objects to speed up or slow down. Pupils could be tasked with identifying as many incidences of friction and their causes as they can while watching the clip.
