Children are shown using simple electrical circuits to produce games and activities. A group of children have produced a 'wire loop' game, a moving clown, a quiz and a birthday card, which include electrical circuits, bulbs and buzzers.
Before making their own games, children could conduct investigations with simple circuits to find out which materials are conductors and which materials are insulators. Children could then learn how switches work, making their own switches using split pins and paper clips to form the switch. Once the children understand how circuits, switches and conductive materials work, they can then be given the materials to design and make their own games using simple circuits.
