This clip could be used as part of an imaginative writing unit in Literacy. Children could watch the opening few seconds of the clip and then pause it when the narrator says “they all come to life". Then the class could be asked to imagine they are locked in the toy shop and what happens when the toys come to life. In addition to this, the children could watch the clip in full then on the second run through the teacher could pause the clip and investigate and evaluate existing toys. The children could identify how each of the toys move, using key words like force, lever, pull and push.
