A look at climate change over a range of timescales. Long term influences on Earth’s climate include: the orbital path of Earth, the tilt and wobble of its axis of rotation, and fluctuations in the Sun’s output. The clip also includes a look at how changes in albedo and increased urbanisation have influenced global temperatures.

Students have three diagrams as they watch the clip, an image of the earth's orbit, an image of the earth's tilt and an image of the earth's atmosphere. As they watch, they should annotate the diagrams to explain the different reasons for the possibilities of climate change.
