Baklava bites

These sweet little parcels of ground pistachios are flavoured with a delicious honey and cinnamon syrup.

For this recipe you will need a canelle knife and a 24-hole mini muffin tin.


For the filling

  • 4 sheets readymade filo pastry
  • cornflour, for dusting
  • 75g/2½oz unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 limes, zest removed in long, thin strips using a canelle knife
  • 50g/1¾oz pistachio kernels, halved
