Police in the Borders have recovered a body from the River Tweed in the St Boswells area on Friday afternoon.

A police spokesman said: "Inquiries are on-going to confirm the identity of the body which appeared to have been in the water for some time."

There are concerns that it could be the body of Allan Graham, who has been missing for the past seven weeks.

The 26-year-old gardener from Earlston, Berwickshire, disappeared on 2 April and has not been seen since.
