Helicopter in full airport emergency

A full emergency was declared at Aberdeen Airport after a North Sea helicopter reported a potential fault.

The Super Puma, with 16 people on board, reported an indicator warning light on Monday morning.

Fire crews, as well as Scottish Ambulance Service and Grampian Police crews, were sent to the scene as a precaution.

However, the helicopter landed safely at about 0845 BST, with all on board reported to be safe and well.
