A mansion house in Aberdeenshire which had been closed because of cost-cutting measures is to reopen.

The National Trust for Scotland (NTS) shut Leith Hall, near Huntly, along with several other properties last year.

Save Leith Hall campaigners have been attempting to have the 15th century building reopened since the decision.

Now the NTS said it would open Leith Hall's doors on Sundays in July and August.
