Three held in Birmingham and Black Country drug raids

Three people have been arrested after drug raids in Birmingham and the Black Country.

The men, aged 21, 22, and 33, were held after raids in St Saviour Road, Alum Rock and Bordesley Green Road, all in Birmingham, and Crabbe Street in Lye.

They were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

The raids were part of Operation Eliminate, an initiative that aims to crack down on drug dealers in Birmingham, West Midlands Police said.
