Thetford recycling depot reopens after fire

A Norfolk household waste recycling centre has reopened after a fire at a facility on the same site.

The fire started at a transfer recycling station run by Waste Recycling Group (WRG) in Burrell Way, Thetford.

The county council-run recycling centre was shut on Wednesday.

The blaze took 65 firefighters about an hour to extinguish and a spokesman from WRG said the damage to its depot was mainly cosmetic.
