The death of a 12-year-old boy in a west Belfast park is not believed to be suspicious, police have said.

The boy, named locally as Corey Wisdom from the Turf Lodge area, collapsed in Falls Park at about 1830 BST on Wednesday.

Local people tried to help the boy after being alerted by other children but were unable to save him.

His family are said to be devastated at the death of their eldest child.

After a post-mortem examination was carried out, police said it was being treated as a sudden death.
