Man aged 20 dies after tree crash in Oldham

A 20-year-old man, whose car hit a tree after driving over a mini-roundabout in Oldham, has died from his injuries.

Karl Taylor, of Hazelhurst, suffered serious head injuries in the crash on Lees New Road near its junction with Wildemoor Avenue on 16 May.

Mr Taylor, who had two brothers and a sister, died at Salford's Hope Hospital.

A 23-year-old man, a girl of 16 and a boy of 17, who were in the Peugeot 306, suffered non life-threatening injuries.
