Jail terms for three Stoke-on-Trent drug dealers
Three drug dealers from Stoke-on-Trent have been given prison sentences after previously admitting offences of conspiracy to supply.
Gary Wakefield, 47, was handed a seven-year sentence at the city's crown court.
Gerald Tyler, 57, from Shemilt Crescent, got four years and 10 months.
Michael Kidner, 37, from Sherwin Road, was given three years and four months to be served consecutively with another sentence.
In June 2008, Wakefield and Tyler were witnessed by officers delivering six cardboard boxes containing 144.2kg of cannabis resin, with a street value of £412,000, to Kidner, Staffordshire Police said.
Officers said he passed the drugs on to two other people.
The force said that in September 2008, 59.86g of cocaine, with a street value of £2,389, was seized from Wakefield and Tyler.
