Man loses teeth in Derry assault

A man has lost two teeth following an assault in Londonderry.

The man was attacked shortly before 0100 BST on 30 May near a bar on Strand Road in the city.

The police said a large number of people were in the area at the time and have appealed for assistance in identifying the attacker.

In a separate incident, the police have appealed for information following the theft of a quad bike worth £4,000 in Claudy, County Londonderry.

The red Honda 450 ES machine was stolen from a shed at Claggan Road in the early hours of 29 May.

It was in excellent condition and had DF security markings on both sides of the petrol tank.
