Audio slideshow: A Hispanic multicultural family

Most (52%) of America's 16 million Hispanic children are now "second generation", which means they are the US-born sons or daughters of at least one foreign-born parent. This means many families will have parents who speak Spanish and children who speak English and grow up as US citizens.

Meet the family of Guadalupe, who lives in Los Angeles and has six children. She introduces us to her daughter Alondra, who is in primary school, and Javier, who is 23 and an artist.
