Three men charged in rural burglaries investigation

Three men have been charged as part of a police investigation into a number of burglaries in which agricultural equipment was stolen.

The raids took place in counties Down and Armagh.

A 27-year-old man has been charged with several offences including theft, burglary, going equipped and possession of criminal property.

Two other men, who are both aged 20, face a number of charges, including theft and burglary.

Two others have been released pending further enquiries.

The 27-year-old is expected to appear at Newry Magistrates Court on Wednesday, while the two 20-year-olds are to appear in court on 1 July.
