Man charged with stabbing murder in Harlow

A man has been charged with murder and attempted murder following a stabbing in Essex.

Anthony Farley, 36, was stabbed to death and a 47-year-old man suffered serious stab wounds during an attack at Pennymead in Harlow early on Saturday.

Simon Payne, 39, of Spencers Croft, has been charged with Mr Farley's murder and the attempted murder of the other man, who has not been named.

He has been remanded in custody to appear in court on Thursday.
