Man injured in daytime stabbing in Glasgow
A 37-year-old man is being treated in hospital after being stabbed in the west end of Glasgow.
The incident happened about 1100 BST on Friday, when the victim was approached by a man in Park Quadrant, Kelvingrove.
He was taken by ambulance to hospital, where he was said to be in a stable condition.
Strathclyde Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward, including a man who was seen walking a rottweiler dog nearby at the time of the attack.
The suspect was described as in his 30s, about 6ft, of heavy build with receding short hair and wearing casual clothing.
Det Sgt Stevie Smith said: "At the time of this attack, the area around Park Quadrant would have been busy with pedestrians and motorists and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at or around the time of the incident to come forward."
He said they were keen to trace the man who was seen walking his dog in Park Quadrant as he may have information vital to the inquiry.
He was described as in his 20s, over 6ft and of medium to heavy build.
