Man charged over Cambridge courtroom fire

A 62-year-old man has been charged with arson following a fire at Cambridge County Court.

Clive Burke, of Denny End Road, Waterbeach, Cambridge, was arrested at the town's railway station after the incident at about 1200 BST on Monday.

Mr Burke was also charged with assault and two counts of possessing an offensive weapon.

He is due to appear before Cambridge Magistrates' Court on Wednesday morning.

The court building was evacuated after the incident and remained shut for the rest of the day.
