Six men in court over football banning order breach
Six men have appeared in court for breaching their football banning orders in the run up to the World Cup.
They were arrested for not handing in passports before an England pre-tournament friendly and not registering with police on the day of the game.
The arrests were part of raids in Wolverhampton, Wednesbury, Witton, Erdington and Solihull last week.
Five men were fined by magistrates in Birmingham, while the sixth pleaded not guilty and is to reappear on 28 July.
Stephen Hackett, 44, of Goodyear Avenue, Wolverhampton, Adam Lynn, 21, of Kingstanding Road, Birmingham, Anthony Lysaght, 21, of Brantley Road, Witton, Ricky O'Rourke, of Merryhurst Road, Wolverhampton and Adam Gordon, 22, of Pierce Avenue, Olton, were fined and ordered to pay costs totalling £2,390.
