Officers seize a shotgun, cash and cannabis in Bristol

Police in Bristol have seized a shotgun and cannabis with a street value of more than £230,000.

A force spokesman said warrants were executed in Woodside Road and Enfield Road on Wednesday.

In total, officers seized more than 400 cannabis plants, dried cannabis, almost £40,000 in cash, a shotgun, and two Rolex watches.

A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply, and money laundering.

Gun in street

He was also arrested on suspicion of abstracting electricity, the police spokesman said.

In a separate incident, officers recovered a firearm found in the road in Eastville.

A spokesman said firearms officers were sent to Shamrock Road at about 1610 BST on Wednesday after a member of the public reported finding a gun.

He said it was being examined to determine whether it was real or imitation.
