New TV appeal over missing Essex woman
A new television appeal is being made in bid to find out what happened to a woman who went missing from her Essex home more than six years ago.
Mother-of-four Sandra Gant, 48, of Wellesley Road, Clacton, went for a drink at a flat in the town on 15 November 2003 and was not seen again.
A murder investigation began, but officers have yet to obtain evidence to charge anyone with the offence.
The new appeal will feature on Sky Real Lives on 24 June.
Ms Gant was was last seen by her family on 14 November 2003. She disappeared the next day after she and two friends went for a drink at a flat with a man they had just met.
It is thought Ms Gant left alone to go home, but she was not seen again and her body has not been found.
Det Supt John Quinton, said last year: "We never close an unsolved case. We know there are people living in Clacton who have crucial information on Sandra's last moments and where she is now.
"The Clacton community holds the key to unlocking the mystery surrounding her disappearance and presumed death."
