Police renew appeal over World Cup draw theft

Police investigating the theft of money from a World Cup pub draw in Londonderry are still waiting to speak to people who had paid into it.

Thousands of pounds went missing from the Phoenix Bar on Park Avenue at the beginning of June.

A man was arrested in connection with the theft, but was released on bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone who has paid into the draw is asked to contact police at Strand Road on 0845 6008000.
