Flintshire fish deaths investigated

The Environment Agency Wales says it is investigating the death of a number of small fish in a stream in Flintshire.

Agency officers were called in after minnows and sticklebacks were found dead at Black Brook in Buckley.

An initial investigation has suggested that sewage may be responsible for the pollution incident.

The Enivironment Agency said a biological survey is being undertaken on Wednesday to assess any damage to invertebrates in the stream.
