Murder charges after Exhall garden death

Two men have been charged with murder following the death of a man found unconscious in a Warwickshire garden.

Ranjit Singh, 44, known as Bitu, was discovered outside a house in Mawnan Close, Exhall, at 0830 BST on Tuesday.

Onkar Singh Chhokar, 51, of Mawnan Close, and Balkar Singh Chima, 55, of The Copse, are charged with murder and grievous bodily harm.

They were remanded in custody by magistrates in Nuneaton to appear at Warwick Crown Court on 5 July.

Mr Singh died on Wednesday, a day after he was found, police said.

A third arrested man was released without charge.
