Woman freed in north Belfast pipe bomb inquiry

A 20-year-old woman questioned by police about a pipe bomb attack in north Belfast has been released.

The attack on the Glandore Avenue home of cross-community worker Mary Kelly happened early on Tuesday. It was the second attack on her home this year.

Police officers discovered the device, which had only partially exploded on the windowsill.

The woman was arrested in Newtownabbey on Friday, but was released a day later.
