Four charged over fatal stabbing in Netherton

Four people have been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man on Merseyside.

Graham Wootton, 31, from Haydock, died at a house in St Augustines Way in Netherton on 14 November.

Samuel Dunne, 48, of Church Road in Seaforth, and Susan Lynch, 38, of St Augustines Way in Netherton, have both been charged with murder.

They, and two others charged with lesser offences, will appear before South Sefton magistrates later.

Mr Dunne and Ms Lynch have also been charged with conspiracy to commit actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice, police said.

Linsay Hutchins, 23, of Muttocks Rake in Seaforth has been charged with conspiracy to commit actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.

David Bennett, 35, of Condron Road in Litherland has also been charged with conspiracy to commit actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.
