Police name Penzance man who died in car accident

A motorist who died in a car accident in Cornwall has been named by police.

Shane Bosworth, 31, from the Penzance area died after his grey Peugeot 206 went off the road.

Police said that no other vehicle was involved in the accident on Saturday morning, but that the damage to the car was consistent with it having rolled.

Mr Bosworth was treated by paramedics at the scene of the crash, between Pendeen and Boscaswell Downs on the B3306, but died on the way to hospital.

Collision investigators closed the road for six hours while they carried out an investigation.
