Halesowen forklift crush death sparks police probe

A man died after becoming wedged between a forklift truck and a lorry, sparking a police investigation.

Paramedics were called to Coombswood Business Park West in Halesowen, West Midlands, at 1424 BST on Thursday.

The unnamed 42-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.

A joint investigation is being carried out by West Midlands Police and the Health and Safety Executive and the coroner has been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
