'Hooded males' sought over Leytonstone stabbing

Police investigating the stabbing of a teenager in east London are looking for a group of males in hoodies.

The 18-year-old was stabbed in the torso in Leytonstone on Thursday at about 1620 BST and left critically ill.

The suspects are described as four to five males in hooded tops, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said. The motive is unclear.

The teenager is still in hospital but his injuries are no longer life threatening.
