The father and brother of murdered care worker Ffion Wyn Roberts are no longer suspects, say North Wales Police.

Iestyn Davies, 53, a factory worker, was charged with killing Ms Roberts, 22, from Porthmadog, Gwynedd, on Thursday.

Miss Roberts's body was discovered in a ditch in Porthmadog on 10 April.

Her father and brother, Idris and Elgan Roberts, were arrested in connection with her murder in May but are no longer on bail, police confirmed.

A post-mortem examination showed she was strangled and there was evidence of drowning.

Mr Davies, of no fixed abode, will reappear on 9 July at Caernarfon Crown Court.
