Drink ban for Elvaston Steam Rally

People visiting a Derbyshire steam rally have been told not to bring alcohol with them following trouble at a previous event.

Police advised organisers of the Elvaston Steam Rally not to apply for an alcohol licence following a minor skirmish there last year.

There will be no alcohol sold at the rally at Elvaston Castle Country Park on Saturday and Sunday.

Traction engines, classic cars and motorbikes are on show at the event.
