Man bailed over male rape in Ipswich parkland

A 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of raping another man in parkland in Suffolk has been given police bail.

The attack on the man, also aged 21, happened in the early hours of Saturday morning at the Alderman Road recreation ground in Ipswich.

The cordon around the area for scenes of crime officers to carry out investigations has been lifted.

The arrested man, from Ipswich, is due to return to Ipswich Police Station on 23 August.
