M40 in Oxfordshire reopens after fatal crash

Police have reopened the M40 in Oxfordshire after a car hit the central reservation, killing its driver.

Emergency services said the accident happened between junctions 10 and 11 northbound at about 1000 BST.

The carriageway was closed for two hours while officers examined the crash scene, a spokesman said.

Thames Valley Police has appealed for witnesses who saw the collision to contact them. No-one else was injured.
