A 17-year-old boy has been arrested over petrol bomb attacks on Orange halls in north Antrim.

Halls in Glarryford and Rasharkin were attacked some time on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

The teenager was arrested on Thursday and questioned on suspicion of arson and possessing petrol bombs in suspicious circumstances.

He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries, a police spokesman said.

Scorch damage was caused to both halls in the attacks.
