Two men rescued from Swindon house fire

Two young men have been rescued from a fire at a boarded up house in Swindon.

The fire service were called out by police who had spotted smoke coming from the building in Victoria Road in Old Town.

Firefighters managed to get the two men out of the semi-detached house and one was taken to hospital after breathing in smoke.

The house was well alight when they attended the scene at 0200 BST on Saturday. The cause is still unknown.
