Five new playgrounds open in Rotherham

Children are to benefit from five new play areas being unveiled in Rotherham.

Rosehill Park in Rawmarsh and a new play area in Aston have already been opened along with one at Wickersley.

Rother Valley MP Kevin Barron will open a new facility in Aughton on Friday. A playground at Limetree Community Park in Maltby will be opened on 24 July.

The play areas are part of a Rotherham council programme which over the past two years has seen 30 play areas across the town improved.
