New council and health centre opens in Leeds
A new £5m building providing council and health facilities under one roof is to be officially opened in Leeds.
A range of services will be housed at the Compton Centre including a new library, employment training, and mental health counselling.
People will also be able to access the council's housing services, benefit advice, council tax and social care services.
The building in Harehills is being opened on Monday.
Councillor Keith Wakefield said: "This centre will be at the forefront of how the council works with and helps the local community by improving their access to employment, training, housing, library and other council services."
