Holidaymaker injured in cycling accident in Wiltshire

A cyclist is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after colliding with a car while on holiday in Wiltshire.

Police said the accident happened on a sharp bend as the man came down Spring Hill, near Ramsbury, at about 1800 BST on Sunday.

The 39-year-old was taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon with serious head and facial injuries.

He was cycling with his wife, who was not hurt.
